Afterwards, this technology extended its applications to other industries, like the healthcare industry, for its capabilities of improving the auditability, integrity and transparency of managing records. These natures of the technology make easier for both healthcare providers (e.g. hospitals, doctors and health systems) and payers (e.g. employers, unions and insurance companies) to handle claims in a more accurate and trustable manner. It results in streamlining the interactions between both sides and improving the efficiency and auditability of the whole communication across the industry.
